Wed, 25 Oct 2006 14:23:46 EST -- a pox on both your houses
i have a new love in game form and it meets all of the criteria that I never knew that I had in a game. PoxNora is a game that melds together the aspects of many genres together: CCG, RPG, RTS. All in a glorious fantasy environment. It is free to try out the pre-constructed battlegroups, which you can play unlimited games with. However, you will not gain any experience or the ability to collect the runes that you will so desperately want. On top of all of these beautiful benefits, they are planning big money tournaments to which I am to win. If you are a fan of turn-based games, check it out.

Got this from my daily recipe newsletter, which I highly recommend for anyone that likes cooking or just likes drooling over food that you may never have.

Great article on basic hacking tools that are apparently still valid on today's servers / ex-girlfriends' computers.

Use at your own risk.
Wed, 23 Aug 2006 10:05:30 EST -- the last big hurdle
when I was amongst the windoze community I had one great love and that was looking forward every week to downloading my free iTunes song of the week. Upon moving over to Ubuntu full-time I was slightly dismayed to discover that I was unable to download these songs, because Apple has yet to release a client for this entirely 'NEW' operating system called linux. Anyhoo this is all a thing of the past. I have discovered a client for iTunes that even has an Ubuntu package on the site:

http://nanocrew.net/software/sharpmusique/

The interface is many times more simple than the official iTunes client, and it doesn't have a built in music player, but I actually like it that way. I want to use my own client to play my songs and if I want to buy music I will use the music buying client. Also this supports the ability to redeem pepsi caps if they ever have the greatest promotion game of all time again.

In order to find the free song you will have to visit itunes.com every week, but this is not that big of a deal, alternatively you can sign up for the new music Tuesday e-mail newsletter.

http://www.nflgetreal.com/form.php

Please fill out the form for me, if you are a true friend. I NEED the NFL network, and I don't plan on paying extra for it. Please fill our the simple form that will send an e-mail to the NFL network, explaining to them that they are screwing me personally.

I don't ever recall having these problems when Adelphia ran the show. Why is Time Warner now having this problem? Also they took my ESPNU right out from under me, without so much as a complimentary reach around. One day before team USA played Ireland in the Barclay's Cup. That's rugby folks and there are precious few games on as it is. Something must be done.
